I have been thinking about the Orange rollout in Kenya and particularly of the introduction of the IPhone to the Kenyan market. Of the top of my head, i am thinking that the cost of acquisition will be a barrier to penetration. I foresee earlier adoption by business executive and business people, that said, is time for us to develop apps specific to the iPhone? I am thinking applications with business intelligence that would interest the corporates…another thought…now that many corporates invested in the Blackberry and seeing that the IPhone is tonnes better than the BB, do you think they will ditch their contracts with the networks? I have been told that Orange is coming with their guns blazing…cant wait to see their service bundles.
