Work-life balance: can it ever be achieved

I had a candid talk with someone I consider intelligent and analytical around the subject of work-life balance. She was of the opinion that success on the business front, almost always means that another component of life suffers…read as relationships… family and other stuff that makes life really worth living.

So I also now pose the question to ya’ll: How do you build a successful business say with a polite turnover of 300 -500 million bob and have a rocking family life and do other things that living is all about? {The turnover amount is an adhoc pick…first numbers that popped in my head}

  1. Well..

    That would probably never happen if you go at it alone. If you are the sole dream holder, you will most strike out at either the business or the relationship with family.

    So you replicate yourself.

    Have the people involved in the actualization of the dream see that the lifestyle that dream affords also works for them. Then and only then do you have a shot at a balanced life.

    Enrollment. That’s the ticket.
