Open Position: PHP Developer | Located in Nairobi, Kenya / Kenyan E-Commerce Ventures
The PHP Developer will participate in all phases of web development from definition and design through implementation, debugging, testing and deployment to ensure all work is to the highest standards.
Start date ASAP.

Responsibilities
- Offer IT related support to other departments;
- Miming and Creation of Different types of report on applications used;
- Collaborate with a team of developers (including remote teams);
- Perform General Maintenance which includes:
- Take charge of daily stock updates;
- Participate in Web Application Development and Upgrade;
- Creation and Dispatch of Newsletters;
- Take ownership for component development and maintenance;
Requirements
- 2-5 years PHP development experience with focus on UI;
- Strong skills with programming in PHP;
- Experience working with PHP frameworks like Zend;
- Experience with Magento Eccommerce Application;
- Demonstrated understanding of web applications;
- In depth HTML, CSS, Jquery and JavaScript knowledge;
- Keen eye for UI design;
- Experience with github;
- Experience in UNIX environment;
- Strong technical and communications skills;
